Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala is set to return home from Bangkok on Tuesday after health check-up.

The state-owned Radio Nepal quoting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that doctors at the Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok examined his heath this morning and suggested him to return home after few days of rest.

Koirala had undergone a successful operation of prostrate gland, through laser, on Wednesday morning and was discharged from the hospital the next day after his health condition was found satisfactory.

The PM had left for Bangkok for on June 17. He is accompanied by his personal physician Dr Madhu Ghimire and few other aides.
