Kathmandu, Oct.18: The final batch of the second contingent of the Sri Indradhwoj Gulma consisting of 270 army peace keepers left for East Timor Tuesday, officials said.
The team was headed by Capt. Rajan Adhikari. The contingent replaced another group that had completed its term in the troubled island that gained its independence from Indonesia. The Royal Nepali Army is also involved in peace keeping operations in Lebanon.
