Five agitating parties are holding a meeting on Sunday at the UML headquarters in Balkhu to discuss the next phase of protest programs, sources said.

It is learnt that the parties are going to announce the 10th phase of protest programs on January 30 coinciding with the Martyr’s Day.

A meeting of the task force of the five parties on Friday recommended new programs of protest aimed at thrashing out “regression”. The party leaders have concluded that agitation must now be headed more intensively.

The meeting comprising of central committee leaders of five parties has decided to stage massive demonstrations across the country on the Martyr’s Day.

Party sources claimed that the 10th phase of protests would be carried out more effectively than the previous ones.
