Parliamentary delegation leaves for North Korea

A seven member parliamentary delegation led by chairman of the Public Accounts Committee Subas Chandra Newang left for North Korea Saturday on a week-long observation tour at the invitation of the Supreme People’s Assembly.

The delegation left for North Korea even as parliament is in session to discuss the budget for the new fiscal year 2001/2 beginning Monday.

Other delegation members include: Hridesh Tripathi, Ramesh Lekhak, Shiv Bahadur Deuja, Buddhi Man Tamang, Dilli Raj Sharma and committee secretary Som Bahadur Thapa.
