Separate fires that spread in Tikuliya and Bishahariya villages Wednesday afternoon have gutted at least 150 houses in Saptari district.

The fire has rendered some four dozen families homeless and destroyed property estimated to be worth NRR 12 million.

Fire started about 1 pm today from a fire-hearth. It was spread quickly due to a windy weather.
