One constable, three rebels killed

Three more Maoists were killed in two different clashes in Dolakha on Tuesday, reports said. In Kavre on Wednesday, Maoists ambushed a police constable to death, the reports added.

District chairman of Tamang Mukti Morcha, Jeevan, was one of the three Maoists reported dead lately. Two more members of the Morcha, a sister organisation of the Maoist party, were also shot dead, the reports said. Earlier reports said the number of Maoists killed in the incident were nine.

In Kavre, a police constable, Shyam Sundar Prasad Yadav died in course of diffusing an ambush set by the Maoists in Kushadevi VDC on Wednesday morning.

In Pokhara on Wednesday, Maoists exploded bombs at district education office partially damaging the office building.
