The 9th general convention of Nepal Students Union-Democratic (NSU-D), the student wing of Nepali Congress- Democratic (NC-D) party is to take place in the western terai town of Nepalgunj.

According to reports, a 1001 member main organising committee has been constituted under the chair of NSU president Kishor Singh Rathaur for the convention which is scheduled to start from July 1 and go on for three days.
