NSP withdraws its support

Bhadrapur, June 3: Nepal Sadbhawana Party has withdrawn its support from a written agreement reached between various political parties including Sadbhavana, the CPN-UML, CPN-ML and RPP over the voter identity cards now being distributed in Jhapa constituency No. 1, 3 and 6.

A press release issued by Sadbhavana’s constituency No. 3 president Jiten Rajbanshi states the party has determined that all those whose names have been included in the voters list of 2054 Bikram year are entitled to voters identity cards.

However, the CPN-UML, CPN-ML and RPP have complained to the district administration office, Jhapa that some non-nationals have also been obtaining the voters identity cards.
