The National Planning Commission (NPC), on Tuesday, unveiled a three-year plan for rural reconstruction and rehabilitation.
The plan focuses on development of access to drinking water and sanitation, rural infrastructures including airstrips in rural region, among others.
At a seminar organised in the capital, the NPC officials said that they would need total investment of Rs 58 billion for the purpose.
The NPC officials said that they would appeal to the international donors for the assistance to the tune of Rs 40 billion to carry out the plans.
