The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index continued to suffer from a slightly bearish trend as it lost two points this past week.
The Nepse index declined from 514.32 points to 512.32 points this week. In the previous week also, the Nepse index had lost points marginally.
The consecutive declines in the index have come in the wake of weeks of bullish trend in the country’s only secondary share market.
The decline in the index is said to have been caused by stagnant transaction of shares of commercial banks, which occupy 61.55 percent of total transactions in the Nepse.
