The NEPSE index slipped 4.13 points at the end of five-day trading Friday. Trading opened at 300.15 Monday and closed at 296.01 points Friday. Altogether 45,902 shares worth Rs.14.89 million were traded through 1058 transactions.
Commercial bank shares gained more than three points up 318.55 from 315.28 points. Commercial bank shares were in biggest demand accounting for 68.58 percent of the total trade.
Bank of Kathmandu led trading with Rs.1.78 million worth of shares traded during the week.
