The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) index has gained 5.3 points in this past week.
The country’s only secondary share market Nepse witnessed its index rise from 509.62 points to 514.65 points, as per the weekly share trading analysis.
The increase is said to have been triggered by rise in share prices of commercial banks.
Meanwhile, the price of gold also slightly increased this week. According to Nepal Gold Silver Traders Association, the price of gold per 10 gram increased by Rs 85 to reach Rs 14,910 – which is equivalent to Rs 17,391 per tola.
