KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index registered an increment of 2.08 points after five days of trade on Friday.
The market opened at 207.41 points Monday and closed at 209.49 points Friday. The transaction of the 121,548 shares was valued at Rs 21.1 million.
The commercial bank group, the largest group at the Nepse floor, registered an increment of 2.23 points, as its index went up to 212.25 from 210.03 over the course of the week.
Similarly, there was an increase in the number of shares traded of the manufacturing group, the hotel group, and the insurance group. However other groups, including the finance group had a decrease in the number of the shares traded.
