The NEPSE index gained 2.82 points at the end of five-day trading Friday. The market opened at 221.65 points Monday and closed at 224.47 points Friday.
Commercial bank share index soared from 210.87 to 215.57 points. Commercial bank shares accounted for 48.51 percent of the total weekly trade. Altogether 34,713 shares worth Rs.9.78 million were traded through 992 transactions.
