Nepathya wraps up Finland tour at Gloria theatre

Nepathya, the Nepali folk–rock Band, which has been in Finland for a series of shows wrapped up its tour to Finland with a successful show at Gloria Theatre situated in downtown Helsinki.

A press release issued by the band said, Nepathya was invited by the organisers of the World Village Festival as the main performer and had delivered a successful performance at the festival on the 28th of May.

The show, which started at 8:00 p.m. local Helsinki time on a Wednesday evening ended at 10:15 but Nepathya went on to perform one more song due to the demand of the audience.

In addition to the Nepalese living there, about a hundred Nepal loving Finnish were also present to enjoy the show.

Pauli Mustonin, the Finnish Charge de’ Affairs to Nepal, and Ms. Marita Meranto – Asia Desk In charge at the Foreign Ministry in Finland were also present on the occasion.

“This tour has opened door for other Nepali musicians. I hope others come and build on to the image we have been able leave here in Finland. All the boys enjoyed playing for the mixed audience at various shows here. It has certainly been a good experience for all of us,” the statement quoted Amrit Gurung, the front man – vocalist of the band as saying.
