After performing 9 shows in 5 the eastern and central region, Nepathya, the premier rock-folk band of the country has reached the western region.

Nepathya held its 10th show of the tour in Butwal on Friday for a special invited audience comprising mainly of students.

“We would never have had the opportunity as we are simple students studying in a government school,” a press statement issued by the organizer quoted a student of the local Kalika Secondary School as saying.

“I am always delighted to sing for children. As the light passed over the audience I thought I was singing in the middle of a garden with plenty of white flowers,” said Amrit, the lead singer.

Nepathya performed for the general public at the local Kalika Cinema hall on Saturday. People of Butwal were overjoyed to see the performance.

Nepathya is currently on a 40-day tour with an entourage of altogether 45 members.

After the performance in Butwal, the Nepathya entourage will head for Dhangadi in Kailali in the far west. It will then tour to Surkhet, Sandhikharka, Tamghas, Pokhara and Besishar in the west. It is scheduled to further travel to Trisuli Bazaar and Jiri before concluding in Kathmandu on the 31st of January.
