Three Nepali Marathon runners will take participate in the Frankfurt Marathon, to be held in Germany on October 30.

According to press release issued by Nepal Athletics Association (NAA), athletes Arjun Kumar Basnet of Tribhuvan Army Club, Arjun Prasad Dhakal and Akkal Bahadur Bohara of Gyanendra Armed Police Force Officers’ Club are leaving on October 24 to participate in the international event.

Nepal German Athletics Development Project, which has been supporting Nepali athletics, has managed air tickets for two athletes from the German
government, while Qatar Airways has sponsored the third one. Gunter Lange, director of Nepal German Athletics Development Project and honorary member of NAA, will be accompanying the athletes to Frankfurt.
