Four Nepali UN security guards killed in a bomb blast in the Afghan city of Kandahar on Tuesday have been identified.
Reports say those killed in the incident are Min Bahadur Gharti of Putalibazaar-2, Syangja district, Suk Bahadur Rana Sarki of Putalibazaar-11 and Bhakta Raj Gurung of Kavre Bhanjyang-2 of the same district and and Bir Bahadur Gunjali of Myagdi district.
Officials at the Nepalese embassy in Pakistan said the victims were identified with the help of the company, which employed them, reports added.
Meanwhile, issuing a press statement Foreign Employment Victim’s Protest Society expressed grave concern over the government’s passivity to check Nepali workers from going to banned countries.
It has asked the Nepal government and the concerned manpower companies to be cautious about the safety of Nepali workers.
