The Association of Nepalese in America has decided to develop a common forum of Nepali journalists residing in different parts of America.

The meeting also decided to activate the Nepal America Journalist Association (NAJA) formed in August 31, 2001, which comprises Nepali journalists residing in America as well as Nepali students studying journalism in various universities of America.

The meeting also formed a new ad-hoc committee headed by Chief Editor of Nepali Post and Chairman of Nepal America Journalist Association, Girish Pokhrel, and asked to activate the association.
