The Nepalese U-14 team has hammered Air Force School Delhi, India by 7-1 Saturday to enter the semifinal of the Subroto Mukerjee Cup football tournament being played in New Delhi.

Deft striker Nirajan Malla struck a hat trick, Ganesh Khadka scored twice and Sudarshan Ghimire and Jagdish Shrestha found the net once each to ensure the deserved victory.

“We completely dominated match and didn’t give any space to the opponents to penetrate inside,” coach Kishor KC told Nepalnews over telephone from New Delhi.

Nepal will play its semifinal clash against Utaaranchal Academy on 10 October.
