KATHMANDU: A meeting between border area officials of Nepal and India held in Baharaich district, India Monday agreed to cooperate through discussions and mutual understanding in controlling terrorism and crime, trafficking in women, trafficking in drugs and in the handover of criminals, RSS reported.
The meeting also reached an agreement to search for missing border pillars and renovate them, and identify and make proper arrangements concerning the ‘Dasgajha Area’ or no man’s land.
Banke district CDO Dilliraj Joshi from Nepal and Baharaich district magistrate Vinod Kumar Mallik from India led their respective teams at the meeting which also discussed ways to further expand co-operation and goodwill between the two countries in the days to come.
