Nepal wishes success of Indo-Pak talks

Nepal has wished success of the high-level talks between India and Pakistan that is being held in Agra India beginning Saturday.

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala sent letters to both Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pakistani President Parvez Musharaf wishing then success on their high level talks aiming to end tension in the Indian sub-continent. Pakistani President Musharaf is beginning his

official visit to India Saturday at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Vajpayee.

In the message, Prime Minister Koirala expressed hope that the bilateral meeting would be successful in promoting mutual trust and understanding and in enhancing fruitful cooperation between India and Pakistan. He said that this process would contribute to consolidating stability, peace and prosperity in the region.

Prime Minister Koirala, in his message to both Pakistani and Indian leaders, said that the meeting would give the much needed momentum to the process of regional cooperation with the revitalization of SAARC in the days ahead.
