Nepal –Russia trade ties discussed

Kathmandu, July 19:Nepal-Russia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NRCCI) President Lok Manya Golchha recently had an interaction with a Russian delegation led by Foreign Trade Manager of Russian Federation Kirill Levin, presently in the capital. The interaction focused on the further extension of Nepal-Russia bilateral trade and co-operation. The interaction also sought ways to find solutions to the existing problems seen in Nepal’s export and import trade with Russia.

Golchha informed that the Russian industrialist could have a joint venture with Nepalese industrialists for the promotion of trade and tourism in Nepal. Levin said that the main objective of his present visit was to further strengthen Russia’s trade relations with Nepal.

Also present on the occasion were Nepal Export-Import Association President Ashok Kumar Agrawal, General Secretary Satis Kumar More, Export Committee Chairman Vishwanath Kediya, Revenue Committee Chairman Madan Lal Mittal, Import Committee Chairman Pawan Kumar Agrawal, NRCCI second vice-President Dil Ratna Shakya, General Secretary Ichchha Raj Tamang, Secretary Hari Bhakta Sharma, executive member Triratna Bajracharya and Russian Science and Culture Centre Director Vladimir P. Ivanov.
