Nepal-India task force meet postponedKathmandu, May 25: The fifth meeting of Nepal-India high level task force (HLTF), which was scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from 26 to 28 May 2000, has been postponed for the time being at the request of Indian side.
Fresh dates for the meeting will be announced shortly, a Foreign Ministry press release said today.
The HLTF is mandated to review progress in the implementation of the Indian co-operation progress in Nepal as well as identify and prioritise new projects for co-operation.
The Nepalese side of the task force is led by the Chief Secretary of His Majesty’s Government of Nepal while the Indian side is led by Principle Secretary to the Prime Minister of India, the press release said.
