Paresh Lohani struck a marvelous century and Mehboob Alam and Paras Khadka hit half-centuries to put pressure on visiting Singaporean team as they lost four wickets in reply of 313 made by Nepal who had chosen to bat first here at TU Cricket Ground on Friday.
Nepal declared the first inning after the score board marked 313 after losing nine wickets. Paresh Lohani made 103 runs while Mehboob Alam contributed 74 runs and Sarad Veswakar was out for 35.
In reply, Singaporeans couldn’t get off to a flying start as Nepalese seamers bowled in perfect length and line to claim early wickets. Skipper Binod Das claimed two wickets while Raj Kumar Pradhan claimed one and another one was run out. On the first day, Nepal received eight points while Singapore got five.
