Nepal Development Forum (NDF), a consortium of aid donors of Nepal, will meet for the first time in Nepal in the first week of December, a Finance Ministry source said.
The last meeting to discuss aid issues, including volume, was held in May last year in Paris where all Forum members met previously. The meeting will try to give “concurrence to overall policy initiatives of the government,” a Finance Ministry source said.

Rare book stolen from National Museum recovered
A rare, old and priceless book believed to have been stolen from the National Museum 22 years ago has been recovered by police last week in the capital, investigators said.
Shahnama or the genealogy of Iranian kings written in Parsi and with golden illustrations was recovered from three persons who were trying to sell the rare book for Rs.60 million.
The other two copies are in libraries in Patna ,the capital of the Indian state of Bihar and New Delhi. Iranian author Firdoufi wrote and illustrated the book with 1016 pages.
Ramesh Dhungel, Shiba Ghimere and Jibraj Kumar, a sacked employee of the Royal Palace, were arrested at Maitidevi last Tuesday as the gang tried to sell the book to police undercover agents posing as potential buyers.
