Nepal, China tourism discussed

Kathmandu, May 31: A delegation of the Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) today met Chinese Ambassador Zeng Xuyong and held extensive discussions on promoting mutual cooperation for tourism promotion between Nepal and China.

On the occasion, HAN president Narendra Bajracharya said it will be fruitful to enhance mutual cooperation between the two countries in the area of tourism and made special request to the Chinese Ambassador to make efforts for including Nepal in the out-bound destination of China.

The delegation also spoke of the need to set up tourism information centres in Kathmandu and Beijing for exchanging tourism information.

On the occasion, the Chinese Ambassador noted there is great potential for tourism development between the two countries and responded positively to HAN’s requests.
