Minister for Foreign Affairs Ramesh Nath Pandey Tuesday met with Chinese Minister of Civil Aviation, Yang Yuanyuan, in Beijing on Tuesday and held discussions on ways and means to promote bilateral cooperation on the field of civil aviation.

According to the foreign ministry, the Chinese side agreed to work out modalities for cooperation in the development of civil aviation in Nepal through diplomatic channels.

During the meeting, minister Pandey expressed appreciation for China’s continued support in Nepal’s development efforts, a statement issued by the Royal Nepalese Embassy in Beijing said.

Minister Pandey had left for China Saturday afternoon on an 11-day official visit.
