Oman collapsed against favourites Nepal in the third limited overs U-19 Youth Asia Cup-2001 Tournament that began in the capital Thursday. Oman were all out for 46 runs in 31 overs.

The match is being played at the Tribhuvan University ground considered the best of four pitches where the matches are being conducted. Nepal, Singapore,Oman and Maldives are in Group A.

Four group matches got underway Thursday morning in clear blue skies. Singapore is playing Maldives in the other Group B match. U.A.E. is playing Qatar and Malaysia is playing Kuwait in the Group A matches.
