The 13th ministerial level meeting between Nepal and Bhutan to resolve a 12-year-old refugee issue involving 100,000 displaced persons of Nepali origin will be held in Bhutan in March, Nepali Foreign Minister Narendra Bikram Shah said Sunday.
The 13th meeting will supervise the work of a joint verification team to begin work again sometime February and expedite repatriation The delayed 12th round will be held in Kathmandu next month at foreign minister level, Shah said. Shah said this after quiet weekend meetings in Thimpu with King Jigme Singhe Wangchuk, the prime minister and foreign minister.
