NDF, UK elects new executive committee

The first general convention of the Nepalese Democratic Forum UK (NDF, UK) elected a new executive committee headed by Aang Kaljung Lama.

Addressing the general convention, chief guest of the programme central committee member of CPN-UML, Bhim Rawal talked about the role of UML for the success of people’s movement.

Central Committee member of All Nepal Women’s Association Srijana Sharma lauded the contribution of Nepalese residing abroad for restoration of democracy in the country.

Rights activist Krishna Upadhaya, Chairman of NRN, UK Ashok Shrestha, Chairman of Yeti Nepali Association Chirinjivi Dhakal, Professor Dr. Surya Subedi also spoke on the occasion.

The general convention also appointed Dr. Padam Simkhada, Krishna Upadhaya, Chandra Bahadur Gurung, Narendra Kandel and Krishna Bhatta as advisors of the organization.
