Speaking at a press meet in Rupendehi on Saturday, KC said that the policies on various issues including monarchy would be formulated in the convention.
KC further said, “Though NC supports a constitutional monarchy, NC is aware of its pitfalls.”
Saying that the 11th convention of the party adopted a secular policy on monarchy, KC said, “Being secular means we are heading towards a republic.”
Terming the interim constitution as the document of agreement of the eight parties, KC said weaknesses and mistakes in the constitution would be rectified through consensus.
