A senior Nepali Congress (NC) leader has heaped the blame on the Maoists for the delay in the initiation of army integration and constitution making process.

Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat accused the Maoists of flouting the past agreements.

“They are the ones who have flouted the understandings. We have always abided by what have been agreed upon,” he said referring to NC’s position of not joining the special committee formed to initiate the process of army integration.
