Nepali Congress (NC) has condemned the Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-Jwala Singh faction) and Maoist-affiliated Young Communist League (YCL) for carrying out untoward activities.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the NC has said that Jwala Singh’s cadres have seized land belonging to Ananda Prasad Dhunga, chief whip of NC, in Gobindapur of Dhanusha district.

Likewise, it has accused the YCL cadres of vandalising vehicle in which party’s Nuwakot district president Jagadish Narsingh KC was traveling.

The party has said that Maoist activists were intimidating its workers and leaders in Bhawang of Rolpa district. The party has asked all to stop such activities.

The NC has asked the government to take action against all the groups and elements engaged in untoward incidents.
