National Taekwondo team selected

National Taekwondo Association (NTA) has selected 11 national Taekwondo players; 6 men and 5 women, for the World Taekwondo Championship, Olympic Qualifying and 11th South Asian Games lining up for the coming years.

The selected players will get a chance to train in a foreign country for two years will take part in qualifying games in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam.

Dipak Bista, Kumar Manandhar, Puspa Thapa, Ganesh Khadka, Sunil Bista and Pitamber Upreti along with Manit Ashahi, Ayusha Shakya, Abina Rai, Bima Rai and Padma Gurung will fly to Incheon, South Korea for the training after one week.

The players will take part in the World Championship going to be held in Beijing, China from May 18-22. After that, the players will again fly to Incheon for further training.
