The RJP reached this conclusion Sunday after a two-day meeting of their Central Working Committee (CWC) members. The meeting concluded the crisis in the country has escalated since February 1 and that the RJP has taken serious note of ever-growing distance between His Majesty and the major opposition forces, reports said.
“The nation will meet inevitable catastrophe if the King and political parties fail to forge an immediate understanding and reconciliation to resolve the current political crisis,” former premier and RJP chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa told journalists, Sunday, after the meeting.
