Kathmandu, June 27: Minister for Water Resources Khum Bahadur Khadka invited Indian Ambassador Deb Mukharjee to his office and apprised the ambassador of the inundation problem caused in some bordering areas of Banke district by the construction of the Rapti barrage and embankment by India.

According to the Water Resources Ministry, Minister Khadka urged the Indian government to give priority to resolving the problem immediately.
