Family members of Trevor Stokol, an American trekker missing from Khumbu glacier near Mt Everest since July 22 have appealed to the local people to help them by giving information about him.

Talking to journalists at a press conference in Kathmandu, Trevor’s father Arnold said, “We are desperately waiting to know about our son and we request the people of that area to help track him.”
Arnold, his wife and daughter are in Kathmandu since last week and are trying to gather information about him. They said they said were still hopeful to find Trevor.
Expressing the possibility to find his son Arnold further said, “It is possible that he got disoriented as a result of altitude sickness or hypothermia and could be wandering down the valley.”
“He is only 25 but looks 30 and he is very strong and tenacious young man had just returned from Annapurna Trekking Range before he disappeared on this final trek to Everest base camp,” the dismayed father said.
