Areas in and around Kathmandu Saturday felt mild tremors around 7 pm — one with 5.5 and another with 4.5 on the Richter scale, reports said Sunday.

The epicentre of the earthquake was in the Lipsikot area of Sindhupalchowk district, the reports said, quoting National Earthquake Measurement Centre.

Tremors were felt in Charikot too. Panic-stricken people fled their houses, the reports said, adding, there were, however, no casualties or damage of property due to the tremors.
