Kathmandu, June 1: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been dismayed by the reports of the purported signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the respumption of the Indian Airlines flight to Kathmandu during the official visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs Chakra Prasad Bastola to India from May 7 to 11 which appeared in some of the Indian newspapers today.
In a statement issued here today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has described the Indian newspaper reports as “baseless and malicious,” irrespective of its origin.
While briefing the foreign relations and human rights committee of the parliament on May 29, Minister Bastola had categorically stated that no agreement or MoU had been signed during his official visit to India, the statement further states.
