Maoists to restrict political parties in the Peoples’ Government areas

Maoists will restrict political parties activities in the areas where they have declared autonomous people’s government.

Maoist made the declaration in a program organized by them to proclaim Bheri-Karnali Magar Autonomous State on Monday, Kantipur reported.

“Anti-activist forces will be restricted from conducting any activities in our areas,” Chief of the government Khadka Bahadur Biswakarma said while addressing the program.

In a message to the so called People’s government, Maoist President Prachanda said, “Such declaration is the preparation for counterattacks against the government.”

The Maoist also stated that the political parties will be allowed to conduct only activities against monarchy. The Maoist declared 21 members government led by Khadka Bahadur Biswakarma, Chief of Bheri-Karnli regional government.

However, the government has been given complete freedom and authority. According to the report, the government cannot work on International affairs, Defense, Commerce, Communication, large electricity projects and Industry.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that after the security personnel rained bombs upon the gathering, the people dispersed, but the Maoists who were guarding the boundary line, sent them back to attend the program.
