Kathmandu, Oct.18: Maoists killed one person and injured 14 others in two separate incidents in Bajura district this week, police said. Maoists abducted Man Singh Thapa from his home in  Pandusen village Monday night killed him.

Thapa had leased his home to the police, reports said. Rebels also attempted to kill 14 persons as they were asleep in their homes in the same village Monday morning, police said.

Police accidently killed a guard protecting a telephone tower in Dhunche in Rasuwa district Monday night, police said. Kali Prasad Bhattarai died en riute to hospital.
