Maoists overnight abducted a leader of the ruling Nepali from his shop and killed him at Argal village in Argakanchi, Radio Nepal said.
A group of heavily armed rebels grabbed Besh Bahadur Chetri from his home and hacked him to death overnight, Radio Nepal said quoting the murdered man’s son.
Maoists have been stepping up attacks against political opponents to mar the November 13 poll.
