A group of armed Maoists kidnapped a former headmaster of Hekuli Secondary School in Pawan Nagar VDC of Dang district on Wednesday.

Shiva Sharma, who is said to be an active member of Nepali Congress, was kidnapped by the rebels while he was on his way to the neighboring Kumadh village.
