Three were injured in a clash between activists of Maoists and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) in Barewa of Rupandehi district on Wednesday.
Reports say shots were fired in the air and a bomb exploded during the clash between the two sides. Police say one activist of Maoist and two belonging to MJF were injured in the incident.
Maoists and MJF have blamed each other for the clash. After the start of the clash, police from Bethari post reached the site and prevented further fight.
In recent weeks, the clashes between Maoists and MJF activists have become a regular phenomenon. The Gaur carnage where 28 persons were killed was the gravest example.
