Machhapuchchhre Bank to go public

Pokhara-based Machhapuchchhre Bank is going public Monday to raise Rs.165 million, an announcement said.

Actors, singers raise Rs.700,00 for fire victims of Myanglung

Actors and singers raised Rs.700,000 for the December fire victims of Myanglung, the district headquarters of Tehrathum in an exhibition football match played at Kathmandu’s Dashrath Rangashala Saturday, organizers said.

Cine artists led by Nir Shah defeated the singers led by Shambhujeet Baskota 4-2. Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand kicked off the entertaining match watched by thousands of fans.
