The last session of the reinstated House of Representatives after the success of the Jana Andolan II is underway at the parliament house, Singha Durbar.
The session to discuss the principle status and amendments of the interim constitution before its approval began after Speaker Subash Nemwang announced the commencement of session at 9:05 Monday morning.
The House is to adopt the interim constitution and on its basis, the interim parliament will be formed by this afternoon. The interim parliament will have 330 members.
The first session of the interim legislature is scheduled to held today itself. The interim legislature will then ratify the interim constitution.
