King Gyanendra and Queen Komal received tika, jamara and prasad from the Bada Guruju on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami at the Narayanihiti Royal Palace Tuesday at 11:01 am amid the chanting of Vedic hymns.

This is the first time that the King and the Queen have received tika on the auspicious occasion of Dashain after the tragic incident that took place at the Royal Palace last year in June.
