King Gyanendra and Queen Komal Thursday offered puja and prayers to the family deity at Alam Devi temple in Syangja on the second day of Dasain.

Prince Paras his wife Princess Himani and daughter of the royal couple Princess Prerana also offered prayers at the temple, an announcement said.

This is the first time the King went out of the capital after ascending the throne on June 4. The royal family returned to the capital after a flying visit to Syangja.
