Karnali students seek help from ‘Caravan’

Kathmandu, Feb. 25: The Karnali Students Welfare Committee organised a discussion programme recently on the feature film ‘Caravan’ which is based on the troublesome life of the people of  the higher areas of  Dolpa district in Karnali zone.

On the occasion, former speaker Damannath Dhungana said a special fund should be created from the income raised from the film for the development of the people of Dolpa in various sectors.

Executive Director of the Nepal Tourism Board   Pradip Raj Pandey said the film Caravan will make a great contribution  to the development of tourism  sector.

On the occasion, co-director of the film Caravan Nir Shaha replied queries asked by the students of the Karnali Students Welfare Committee and the journalists.

The programme was presided over by the president of the committee Ratna Bahadur Shahi.
